Sometimes I'm unable to go into the battlefield because it says I need to wait until I'm combat ready, despite the fact the timer is already down. This happens quite a lot with me, usually when buying things while waiting for the timer to go down, or accidentally trying to leave before I do. Also sometimes when I get pushed into the return portal, it won't let me go back.

Again, I can just type KILL in the console, but it's kinda annoying when I get all geared up at the genetics lab, and then be unable to fight, and have to wait another 20 seconds and re-gear.

By the way, I'd like to comment on how rewarding the Ultimate pack is, the flamethrower are APR are freakin' epic. ;)

Okay, its playable at a higher res, and it's pretty cool! How do I get the turrets to attack stuff? Sometimes they stop attacking for no apparent reason.

Hmm.. having a problem..
When I try to run it.. and yes i download both the autoget file from getwad, then used the link from the server... it says:

i did some google searching.. and it linked me to this forum... the google search description said :

This happens because of Auto weapon switch. I turned it off in my Player Options and it never happened again. :)
Easy fix for the next update, just add WEAPON.NO_AUTO_SWITCH to all the weapons.

** General
-If a player has auto weapon switch enabled; The buy menus will sometimes break. Fixable with +WEAPON.NOAUTOSWITCH
-New minimap doesn't always work.
-H.U.D info doesn't always update. (The hudmessageonactor stuff)
-Turrets sometimes turn against players. (Normally after the round is close to ending.)
-Some enemies (Notably, the Chaingun major) will desync with the server; Causing them to become invulnerable.
-H.U.D won't display when you're not "Combat ready" (This makes purchasing items during this time a bit of a hassle)

** Frenzy
-None specific to this gamemode. Yay!

** Survival Defender
-Players dead counter is sometimes inaccurate.

** Total Invasion
> General
-When entering the battlegrounds, players can get stuck as 'unready' if more then 1 player attempts to enter. Fixed with suiciding.
-Building lifts can break. (Unsure what causes this)
-Cameras don't work as commander.
-Dynamic camera will sometimes get stuck in a wall, causing HOM.
-Commander H.U.D has a tendency to flicker.
-Item dispensers sometimes refuse to operate.
-Demon turrets are sometimes invisible.
-Tank skins still don't work. (Try the new Weapon.PrefferedSkin "Skin" feature!)
[Reveal] Spoiler: SF01 Specific
None! Map works as intended aside from general bugs. :D

[Reveal] Spoiler: SF02 Specific
-Players can climb over the door connecting Sector 1 and 2 from the guard tower.

[Reveal] Spoiler: SF03 Specific
-If players get overwhelmed, entering battlegrounds can be exceptionally difficult.



There may be more bugs; but those are the most outstanding ones.

Now for exploits; You filthy bastards you!

* Exploits
----------------
** General
-Players can destroy team cores, turrets, dispensers, and monsters. Use custom damage types to address this griefing!
-Players can hide in some sectors and hold that sector indefinitely.

** Frenzy
-Again, flawless. Woo-hoo!

** Survival Defender
-Nope. No exploits. Awesome.

** Total Invasion
> All exploits are map specific.
[Reveal] Spoiler: SF01 Specific
-Players can still reach the missile silo island if they have enough health.

[Reveal] Spoiler: SF02 Specific
-As stated before, players can jump over the Sector1/2 doors. Not sure what they can do with that, however.

-None have been found yet.





And now for my favorite part:

* Suggestions
--------------------
- Camera panning controls are atrocious! Please give us key bindings! :mad: (If you add only one of these, PLEASE make it this one! Aiming the Ion Cannon can be hell during larger battles!)
- Replace lifts with stairs, as these can't be broken from player abuse. (Or at least a teleporter backdoor stairwell)
- Use Custom damage types to make Summons, cores, turrets, and dispensers immune to player fire.
- Make the turrets susceptible to scrolling floors; So you can't be real cheap with them on SD01.
- Please remove the WORLD flag from the Cyberbaron see sound. It gets spammed when they spawn and it's real annoying.
- Give the Guard Tower from the refinery some kind of bonus. It's a pretty useless building.
- Add more Item dispensers! As two can get very crowded. Making it 3 or 4 would be perfect!
- What happened to the sandbags from the beta? They were great!
- Tank should be placed in the "Interaction" menu on the main menu. Not buried under the Marine Command menu.
- Allow Turrets to be placed by the Commander; As it is, The menu tells us we can but there is no option to deploy a turret.
- Move Turrets, dispensers, mines, and summons to the Inventory instead of weapon slots.
- Make the Spheretech items (Including the Berserk 2.0) inventory items; So we can activate them at will.
- Put the core on SD01 on a pillar or something; It blocks player shots way to easily.


Okay, hopefully that's everything. Just remember, the wad is EXTREMELY playable and enjoyable as is! But these bugs and exploits can easily ruin it for everyone. :|
Anyway, great mod and I can't wait to see more maps made for this!

Well wadaholic, I actually plan on helping out by mapping for this, but I have a couple questions:
1: is it required to use XWE? (the biggest factor I can safely say.)
2: How should the level be generally structured?
3: Is it safe to not have any custom foes or anything like that, or will I need customized things? (kinda pokes at 1, but I digress.)

Ive never played anything quite like this. This is what the invasion gametype is suppose to be. this is by far the most kickass coop/invasion wad i have ever played. and wants those bugs are fixed. welll god its to amazing to even think about.

1: No need to use XWE. You only need to use it if you want to add a custom mini-map to your level.
2: Its split up into 5 areas. The demon base, Sector 1, Sector 2, Sector 3 and the marine base. Another thing to keep in mind is that the maps ceiling height should be the same throughout to support the commanders camera (since it clips onto ceiligns). Take a look at SF02 for example, the majority of that map has a ceiling height of 384. If you take a look at SF01, the ceiling height is all over the place. Due to this the Commanders camera is restricted to just the marine base to solve clipping issues. Unfortunately there is no way of fixing this at this point of time.
I'll be releasing map templates with the SDK.
3: Sure, add whatever you desire :)
