IRC Commands-NickServ

This lists commands for NickServ for (Skulltag's IRC Server).


NickServ

Name Description Example
HELP Displays help information, and what commands are available to you. When there are several menus and you want to know what commands are available, just be sure to the the HELP command before you place the menu name. /NickServ HELP

REGISTER Register a new account /NickServ REGISTER USER_NAME MyPassword
UNREGISTER Delete your Registered account (including all personal data) /NickServ UNREGISTER MyPassword
AUTH Authentication to your account. (Log into account) /NickServ AUTH USER_NAME MyPassword
PASS Change user account password (must be authenticated first). /NickServ PASS MyOldPassword MyNewPassword
ADDMASK Only allow users that have the listed hostmask to authenticate. *This is disabled! /NickServ ADDMASK UserName*@*Host.Mask.192.168.0.5.DNSSuffix
DELMASK Remove a hostmask from your account. /NickServ DELMASK UserName*@*Host.Mask.192.168.0.145.DNSSuffix
RENAME Rename your current account /NickServ RENAME
ACCOUNT FLAGS Shows user mode flags, and description for each of the account flags. /NickServ ACCOUNT FLAGS
SET ANNOUNCEMENTS Allows you to receive community announcements from the Global Service. /NickServ SET ANNOUNCEMENTS 1
SET COLOR If true, NickServ and ChanServ will use bold and underlines in the text that they send to you. /NickServ SET COLOR 1
SET INFO View users account information line. /NickServ SET INFO USER_NAME
SET LANGUAGE Changes the user account language to any supported language. *Englisch is only supported at this time /NickServ SET LANGUAGE 1
SET STYLE This changes the text that is sent to you by NickServ and other services.
  • Normal - Userlist has separators and does not show numeric levels
  • Clean - Userlist has no separators and does not show numeric levels
  • Classic - Userlist has separators and also shows ONLY numeric levels. (SrvX style).
  • Advanced - User list has separators and also shows numeric levels.
/NickServ SET STYLE CLEAN
SET PRIVMSG If set to true, both NickServ and ChanServ will send you Private Message, rather than sending notices in the channel. /NickServ SET PRIVMSG 0
SET TABLEWIDTH Sets the width for wrapping table-formatted text. /NickServ SET TABLEWIDTH 0
SET WIDTH The width you want Services to wrap text it sends you. /NickServ SET WIDTH 0
SET MAXLOGINS The number of users that can log into your account at once. /NickServ SET MAXLOGINS 1
SET TITLE A title set on your account by network staff. (Only affects hidden hosts).
  • NOTE: Standard users are unable to use this!
/NickServ SET TITLE *
SET EPITHET An epithet set on your account by Network Staff. (This will show on WHOIS)
  • NOTE: Standard users are unable to use this!
/NickServ SET EPITHET *
SET AUTOHIDE Automatically sets the +x mode (hides your hostmask) when you login. /NickServ SET AUTOHIDE 1
SET ADVANCED This will show advanced options and commands. /NickServ SET ADVANCED 1
NICKINFO Find out who has registered a nick/user name /NickServ NICKINFO Wartorn
REGNICK Register the nick/user name to your account (must be authenticated to your account!) /NickServ REGNICK
UNREGNICK Removes the nick/user name from your account, and is available for anyone to use. /NickServ UNREGNICK
RECLAIM Reclaim a nick/user name that is registered to you, that another unauthorized user (or ghost) is currently using. /NickServ RECLAIM MyNick
ACCOUNTINFO Displays information about an account /NickServ ACCOUNTINFO Catoptromancy
USERINFO Displays what account an online is authenticated to. /NickServ USERINFO SuperGod
STATUS Displays NickServ status. /NickServ STATUS
VERSION Displays NickServ version information /NickServ VERSION
