IRC with IDE
The Internet Doom Explorer or IDE is one of the most easiest and very user friendly application. The IDE is packed with a lot of neat features, like connecting straight to IRC and the channel to be in, with little user interaction!
Connecting to #Skulltag
This will be one of the most easiest procedure to do! On the Internet Doom Explorer, click on IRC. Once you have click on the IRC tap, you will three Icons. You will click on the Skulltag Icon.
Once you have clicked on the Skulltag Icon, a new window will come up prompting you to enter in your Nickname. This nickname can be any name you want to use.
The press (Ok). Then, you will be connected to #Skulltag automatically!
“See, it is just that easy!”
Making a new custom connection
For outdated IDE versions (4.35 and earlier)
Since we have moved to another network service, you might have to add a custom connection. Doing this is not hard, however just a few extra steps to take.
Now, if you have already access #Skulltag on DAL.net before, your settings will still remain on IDE. What we are going to-do, is update the connection. To do this, click on the “New Connection” icon, and select “Skulltag Presets”.
Once you have done this, you will see this:
What we are going to-do, is change (IRC.DAL.NET) to (IRC.SKULLTAG.COM). Once you have done that, be sure to save the preset. Press OK once ready. IDE will immediately begin connecting to Skulltag IRC once you have finished.
