Step 1: Downloading

You can be able to download a zip file under Windows on the Skulltag’s Download page.

Step 2: Opening a ZIP file

Once you have finished downloading the ZIP file, you will need to open the ZIP file, and extract the files over to a new folder.

HEY WAIT! How can I open this ZIP file?

If you use (Windows 9/x, ME, or 2000) you will need to use third party software. For a free software that can open a zip file, you can use 7-Zip.

If you have (Windows XP, Vista) then you will not need to worry about this, since ZIP file is supported.

Step 3: Extracting files

You will need to create a new file on your desktop “Or at any location you wish”, and name the folder to “Skulltag”. Once you have created the new folder, you will need to go back to the ZIP file, and copy all of the files there and paste the files on the new Skulltag folder you have created.

Step 4: Adding an IWAD

Now you are on your final step, adding an IWAD file.

You will need to make a copy of your Doom2.wad file over to the Skulltag folder. Todo this, you will need to find your copy of Doom2.wad, once you have done this, right click on the “Doom2.wad” file, and click on “Copy”. Now go back to you Skulltag Folder, and on the file menu, you want to click “Edit”, and click on “Paste”. This will make another copy of your Doom2.wad file over to the Skulltag folder. Once this is done, you are now finished!
