What we do not do
- No user accounts, no comments, no newsletter, no forms that store your data.
- No analytics or advertising scripts, no tracking pixels, no third-party fonts or embeds that load before you ask for them.
- We do not set cookies. Your browser stores nothing from us beyond the ordinary page cache.
What is processed when you visit
Server logs. Like every website, our server records standard access logs: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser’s identification string. We run our own server, hosted in the Netherlands, and use these logs only for security and to keep the site running. They are kept only as long as needed for security monitoring, after which they are automatically rotated and deleted. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Cloudflare. Traffic to skulltag.com passes through Cloudflare, which acts as our content delivery network and security proxy. Cloudflare sees your IP address and request metadata to deliver pages and block abusive traffic; it may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it has to challenge suspicious requests. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum, with transfers outside the EEA covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Site search. Searching the site sends your query to our server to produce the results page; queries are not stored separately from the ordinary server logs.
Video. Some pages embed YouTube videos. Nothing loads from YouTube until you click play; from that moment YouTube (Google) processes your data under its own privacy policy. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
Email. If you email us, we use your address and message to reply and keep the correspondence as long as needed to handle it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Email [email protected]; we respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Changes
We update this page when the site starts doing something new with data — for example if we add a way to send in corrections. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed.
